Madrid weekend.

Japp, Now ive been in Madrid also, just like that. Really nice city, but when its 40 degrees hot... ouch. But yeah, this weekend contained a lot of food, and a loot of tinto verano. Which is red wine and sprinkled water, yummie. Me and Alex live in a youth hostel in the center of the city. This was my first time in a youth hostel, and i like it. The people you meet are really talkative and friendly.
We wandered around in the Retiro park for hours, really beutiful and it felt like the park was just about the same size as the city, which means huge. The hours between 1pm(13.00) and 4-5pm (16-17.00) Was all about siesta. Too hot to think, to walk, to do anything. But we still managed to see most of the biggest tourist places by just walking around like maniacs. And i even had my birthday in Madrid. Yeey, second birthday in Spain. =) In total, good weekend with lots of food ( i love food).

This is a poem my mom gives me every birthday. It's a new tradition., and i like i t =) It's a poem about the start of summer, and that you get a 100 days to spend the best way you know.

Be glad, my soul for what you have, now you have a 100 days of summer, and this is the first. When the sun sets you will have 99 to go, and one of those will be the best. Be attentive where you are, today will soon be tomorrow. Time wanders fast, notice that what you get is a 100 days per year, tomorrow is the second.
This is just a short translation, and could probably be better. But yeah,. time flies and now i have to shut down the computer for today.
