In lack of other things to do, me and Anne went to Càdiz one more time. To look for one thing, I.D. bare minerals. Which is makeup, good makeup. Girlie, i know. But i love makeup, it has saved my life so many times. Not literally but.. Ah, you get the point. On the ferry over to Càdiz we talked to each other and noticed there was a guy next to us that looked pretty cute, but didn't think much more about it. But when we were about to arrive at the dock he asked us about the way to the trainstation. That was just a reason to talk to us, cause then he told us that he was backpacking through spain, he was studying .. wine? And he was living at a hostel called Casa caracol - Snail house. He seemed like
a cool guy and he invited us to the hostel for a beer later, if we wanted. we said "ok, maybe, we'll see" And he gave us the road description and suddenly he was gone. We looked around for the makeup for one hour and noticed that we had reached the closing time, everything was about to close for the day. So we gave it a lot of thought. Did we want to go to the hostel? Did we not want to go? Should we? shouldn't we? What if this, what if that?In the end we gathered some courage, got a real adrenalin kick and went to the hostel. We went to the hostel. unbelievable. Both of us nervous about what we would find. we found the blue door at the smallest street ever and knocked. Spanish guy openes. Weird soft music is played inside and everything is a bit ...dim. The german guy on the boat mentioned staff that was smoking weed and growing it on the terrace. So what met us in the door was something you might have seen in
the tv show "weeds". We asked for the german guy we didnt know the name of "You wish to see a german guy?" the spanish guy said that opened the door. he told us to go inseide and take a look for ourselves. We felt our stomachs making loops, but went inside., we found the terrace, but he wasn't there., only a few people doing nothing. But wow. what a place. NEver seen anything like it. anyway. when we didn't see him anywhere we walked towards the ferry back to Puerto, happy about the fact that we actually DID go to look
for him. And then enjoyed the ride back, the soft warm breeze and this beautiful sunset.
